SWOT Analysis, Mission Statements, and Change Management as part of Your Strategic Planning
Titanium Infrastructure offers a consultancy service in Strategic Planning, which can include SWOT Analysis, Vision and Mission Statements and Change Management to help your organization embark on necessary changes.
Human Resources practitioners are no longer only playing the paperwork administrator roles that they did in the past but are now playing essential parts in the strategic planning of the organization. A multi-faceted professional operating in the human capital realm should be fluent in not only the tactical functions of human resources, but also in Strategic Planning and Change Management.
We can partner with you and help clarify the objectives and goals of the organization, translate these into Vision and Mission Statements, and guide your managers in facilitating, directing and moving their divisions in the direction that the organization needs to move toward. Having a plan is only part of the battle. Implementation and carrying out the plan developed during your Strategic Planning sessions is the other and often more challenging part of the battle. The four phases of the Strategic Planning process are listed below and Titanium Infrastructure can help you with any or all of them.

The four phases of the Strategic Planning process are listed below and Titanium Infrastructure can help you with any or all of them.
Vision and Mission Statements (Phase I)
Crafting Vision and Mission Statements are the first component in a strategic plan. The Vision Statements (guiding image/desired future) and Mission Statements (specific activities for the future/reason for existence) illustrate the general goals and objectives and the strategic plan is crafted around these.
When an organization has not put adequate introspection and thought into the Vision and Mission Statements, no one has a clear direction or understanding of the strategic plan, and it usually falls apart and produces a negative outcome. When there is a good understanding of the Vision and Mission Statements, members cohesively have a similar understanding of the overall goal and are more likely to work together to achieve that goal.
We can help you define these Vision and Mission Statements in collaborative and guiding sessions that will generate buy-in, understanding, and clarification for the organization and members.

SWOT Analysis / Environmental Scanning /Strategy Development (Phase II)
We partner with organizations and analyze four different groups of factors that may be affecting that particular company. We flesh out the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) that can impact an organization in reaching goals.
A SWOT Analysis can be on a local level or within a global context depending on the organization. There are also other environmental scanning tools that can be used in place of a SWOT Analysis, but the general path remains the same across the tools. When a SWOT Analysis is performed, longer-term organizational objectives and strategies are established which give the organization results or achievements that it needs to meet in order to succeed at this strategic plan. |

Change Management / Strategic Implementation (Phase III)
Our guidance in Change Management can help your managers carry out the strategic plan. There are a variety of techniques and methods that can be used to help an organization and employees accept and implement operational modifications. Change Management is crucial because the environment will be changing, sometimes rapidly, and everyone will need to adapt quickly. Organizations can be resistant to change at the social, employee, management, and process levels therefore it is important to adopt a strategy that alleviates any unnecessary stress and burden on members. An effective Change Management strategy allows an organization to continue to function normally as it goes through this process. It is in this phase that shorter-term objectives, action plans, allocation of resources, and employee buy-in becomes paramount.
Titanium Infrastructure can help your organization navigate strategic and organizational obstacles in addition to employee and interpersonal obstacles. We will work with stakeholders (decision-makers, employees, and in some cases, government agencies and suppliers) as we move through the strategic planning process.
In order for a strategic plan to be implemented, the members and management need to be informed of this plan and the route they need to follow and there needs to be an accountability control to ensure that each member carries out the plan.

Accountability / Strategy Evaluation (Phase IV)
In this phase, Titanium Infrastructure will collaboratively review the strategies with management stakeholders, assess the advancement to and achievement of objectives, and if necessary, work with management to modify and take corrective action.
The strategic planning process is continuously changing, and the organization must be situated so that it is able to pivot in reaction to elements of the SWOT Analysis.
Having a pulse on the strategic plan can alert stakeholders to potential unseen problems that may arise. It is best to have regularly occurring strategy reviews rather than a one-time evaluation at the end. At any time during the process, whether it be a planned implementation or a response to one of the SWOT Analysis factors, other initiatives within the strategic planning process can be initiated, such as analysis of available talent and the existing talent pool, compensation and rewards, crystallization of processes, strategic talent acquisition, succession planning, identification of an M&A candidate, increasing market share, or divestiture of assets, etc.
We can help your managers evaluate and measure how well the organization has performed in relation to the strategic plan and work with decision-makers to modify the strategic plan as the environment changes.
